Christopher Souster is an accomplished lawyer with more than twenty years at the bar. He has been a regular guest on television, radio and print medias, and a speaker at many Cannabis seminars and events. In recent years, he has provided consultation and legal advisory services for individuals and corporations in various sectors of the Cannabis industry. Christopher is also a founding director of the Canadian Cannabis Chamber.
Lindsay Blackett is a not only the former Minister of Culture and Community Spirit and a former Member of The Legislative Assembly of Alberta for Calgary North West, he is an extraordinarily well-connected executive with over three decades of diverse professional experience. He has conducted numerous radio and television interviews and has participated in many Cannabis events across Canada. Lindsay is also the past President of the Canadian Cannabis Chamber. Drawing upon that experience, he is now focused on steering Cannabis businesses through the regulatory process.
Sara Brooks, MA (Public Policy)
is a graduate from the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary where she studied health and social policy. Sara’s capstone research examined barriers and policy opportunities regarding access to quality assured medical cannabis through a case study of families of children with epilepsy. Through her studies and work with the Canadian Cannabis Chamber, Sara has gained comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the history, policies, and current and forthcoming regulatory landscape pertaining to cannabis. A long-time advocate of drug policy reform and harm reduction, Sara has volunteer experience as a social media manager for Calgary PartySafe as well as peer crisis support for arts festivals in Alberta and British Columbia.
has a business background in sales, marketing and project management, and has extensive experience in several industry sectors including oil and gas, commodities and hospitality. She has traveled extensively to Asia, South America and Europe to structure international service and supply agreements, and is an accomplished business development professional. In addition, Laurie has previously served in municipal politics, she maintains government networks and is avid volunteer in her community.
